Amazing Spider-Man #129 Value?

Hi I was wanting to get an appraisal and possible sale for my Amazing Spiderman #129.

The issue is in pretty good condition barring the name written on the cover bottom and the bottom of the first page. The issue is complete with no tears or cutouts. The left side of the scan is blurry as I did not want to flatten the issue on my scanner.

Thanks for sharing this comic book. Oh Chuck! Whoever you were... Writing your name on the front of a key issue in big red Sharpie was not the smartest move ever!

Amazing Spider-Man #129 is, as all Spidey fans know, the first appearance of The Punisher.

This is a major Bronze Age key issue, a must-have for all Spider-Man collectors. That has pushed the price up rapidly over the last 10 years.

It's hard to say how CGC would regard the Sharpie name on this issue. I would hazard a guess and say it's about a 6.0.

If graded at that level, this would sell for around $250-$275. Ungraded, I would value this comic at around $125.
