Created by artist Rob Liefeld, who is best-known for having a hard time drawing feet, Deadpool proved that the very serious business of saving the world could have a dark and humorous side.

Deadpool has a huge future in the MCU, with actor Ryan Reynolds signed to cameo in many future movies now that Stan "the Man" Lee is no longer with us.

Deadpool's first appearance may not have very good feet, but it certainly has legs, being among the most valuable comic books of the 1990s.
