Why Amazing Adventures #11 is a Hot Comics LOSER

Some of the books on last year's list are too specialized to be hot. They don't turn over often enough, there aren't enough sales, to create the necessary market conditions to qualify as a hot comic.

Amazing Adventures 11 is one such book. It's not COLD exactly... it's just scarce.

As a vital member of the X-Men, the Beast is altered in continuity in Amazing Adventures #11. And, thanks to the magic of Hollywood, it's this incarnation which movie fans are familiar with.

We are quite bullish on the value of this comic book. It's surprisingly rare in high grade, being overwhelmingly black and what is known as a 20c Marvel "Picture Frame Cover", with a box central to the cover image surrounded by solid color.

These are notoriously hard to find in perfect shape.

Be patient. Don't lower your standards. CGC 9.4 is as low as we recommend for this book. 9.6s and 9.8s are rare, and expensive too. 9.4s seem relatively affordable yet still desirable.
