DROPPED OUT OF LIST
Tim Fox is strongly tipped to be the next next Batman.
It's hard to keep all the potential Batmans straight to be honest, but in a world where DC Comics are about as hot as a penguin's butt, it's nice to see a new DC issue hit the Hot 100.
It was touch and go to be honest, as prices on this book were red hot for a while but are coming back down. There is enough action to recommend it to you -- for now -- but don't bet the farm.
DC can't seem to get the movie machine working the way Disney/Marvel have.
We normally like to buy CGC 9.8s of relatively modern books, but the ship seems to have sailed on this one.
DC Comics, including Batman, were printed in much lower numbers in the late 70s to mid-80s, and there are only 29 CGC 9.8s in the census. I hesitate to recommend spending over $2K on what is a somewhat speculative book.
The gap to 9.6 is huge, and that's what I recommend for now.
Note there are TWO variants of this comic book: "Mark Jeweller's Insert" and Whitman variant.
I suggest you avoid both of these, as they are specialist collector's niches which affect prices in strange ways.
