What's not to love about the concept of one of Marvel's hottest superheroes possessing the other?
The Venom movie was very well-received, at least by fans of the character, and with a Carnage Marvel movie planned to hit the silver screen in the near future, there is no sign of symbiote fever slowing down anytime soon.
Deadpool, the merc with a mouth, is of course veteran of two movies already, so this book is backed up with lots of fan appeal -- and the potential to do better if this fantasy scenario ever makes it to a movie.
I always like more than one reason to invest in a comic, so this is good news. Two great characters and one great concept, Venom/Deadpool: What If?
As usual for modern comics, I don't let my standards slip (the exception is rare variant comics, when there may be little to no choice of what to buy).
CGC 9.8 with white pages only. Settling for anything less is foolish.
When you see how much people are paying for lower grades, compared to the asking price of a 9.8, you'll understand why I am so adamant on this point.
Here are recent sales:
Why on earth would you pay $300 for a 9.6 when you could have a 9.8 for $25 more?
A $3.99 newsstand edition exists. There is limited data, but so far the price of both editions is about the same.
