Marvel Preview was a comic-magazine published under Magazine Management (also known as Curtis) beginning in 1975.
The black and white series ran for 14 issues, until Marvel Comics Group picked up the series after that, for an additional ten-issue run.
The magazine featured a variety of storylines that showcased a different heroic character in nearly every issue. Marvel Preview dealt with genres such as science-fiction and sword-and-sorcery.
Several Marvel Comics characters were introduced via this series. Dominic Fortune, Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon all made their debut appearances in various issues of the series. Issue #2 also taught us more about the Punisher, who had his debut solo story and origin as the antagonist to The Amazing-Spider-Man.
From issue #25 onward, the series would change its title to Bizarre Adventures. The change in title also meant for a change in tone, as editor Denny O'Neil asked Steve Skeates, the head writer, to include a humour feature called Bucky Bizarre to finish off each issue.
The final issue, Bizarre Adventures #34, was in full colour and also a standard sized comic book, entitled "Special Hate the Holidays Issue", which included a variety of Christmas-themed storylines and featured the character of Howard the Duck.
