Mystic Comics was a three-volume series published Atlas Comics, formerly known as Timely Comics and what would eventually evolve to be Marvel Comics.
The first two volumes in the series were superhero anthologies, which saw the return of Timely sensation the Human Torch. Created in what is referred to as the Golden Age of comics, Mystic Comics was made throughout the wars years, running from 1940-45.
The third volume of Mystic Comics were simply titled Mystic; they were horror-suspense stories, which had a total run of 61 issues from 1951-1957.
Although the third series had no superhero, it did feature the introductions of Blazing Skull, Black Widow and Destroyer. Bill Everett and John Severin were among the contributors to the series.
