I have New Mutants Issues 1-100 (missing 98) with all Annuals and Specials.

all in NM condition.

As you probably know, very unusually the early issues of New Mutants comic are not particularly sought-after. Issue #1 is only worth $35 in 9.8 CGC grade.

Instead, there are two key later issues:

New Mutants #87 First Cable

New Mutants #98 First Deadpool

New Mutants #87 is worth from around $30 in 9.0 grade CGC to around $180 in 9.8 CGC.

If you had one, #98 would be worth around $330 in 9.8 CGC.

For a complete run, ungraded, you will only expect to fetch around $325 (and that would be with #98). See this completed listing on eBay for a price guideline.

Without New Mutants #98, I would expect you to get around $200-240.

In 1983, I was 12 and a huge X-men fan. One day, they introduced the New Mutants and lo and behold, next month there was The New Mutants #1 on the shelf. Those are the only two books left from my collection. I don't know why I have been holding out on them. I didn't notice in this thread any mention of the X-men issue or it's worth. Thoughts?

I wouldn't expect #1 to be valuable suddenly. A lot will depend on which characters and bad guys are pulled into the movie.

Marvel Graphic Novel #4 (1st appearance of New Mutants) is a strong tip.

Great question. Some speculation on the price of this book sees a CGC 9.8 sell for about $110 at the moment.

However, New Mutants #26 is the first full appearance, and CGC 9.8s are currently at $180. I still see the prices falling on this book, so maybe the speculation has subsided?

Since the Deadpool movie has been given the greenlight, both 98 and 87 have shot up in price.CGC 9.8 for 87 averaging 305.00 CGC 9.8 for 98 averaging 760.00 right now.
