Like all the Marvel Comics superheroes which have appeared in their own movies, or The Avengers heroes, Thor has seen big growth in interest and value.

Key issues, including Journey Into Mystery #83 (first appearance of Thor) are valuable comics that any collector would like to own.

There are a few much later issues with value. Unfortunately, #261 is not one of them.

The record sale is only $80, and that was for a CGC graded 9.8. Your copy is worth a couple of bucks at best.
