Wasp Marvel Comics Price Guide
The wonderful Wasp! Stan Lee's creation is a little sappy in the early days, serving as little more than a loved-up girlfriend to Ant-Man.
However, she would go on to be serious business, eventually leading the Avengers team.
While her MCU outings have mostly been limited to the Ant-Man movie sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and a few cameos in the big picture Infinity War and Endgame, there is plenty of time for Wasp to step out of the shadows and take center stage in upcoming Marvel movies.
Here are comic book values for her key appearances. If you have any of the books below, then please use the FREE appraisal button!
Tales to Astonish #44
First Wasp Marvel Comic
Record Sale: $26,200
Minimum Value: $40
Tales to Astonish #44 is THE key Wasp Marvel issue.
Plentiful in grades up to VG, but scarce higher, especially VF or nicer. It's a rare comic book in 9.2 and above.
This book is seriously under-valued, and one of my top investment picks of the Silver Age.
Very much under-rated in high grade. There are only 2 copies in the CGC census in 9.8, 2 in 9.6, 6 in 9.4, 8 in 9.2 and 12 in 9.4.

Record Sale: $274,000
Minimum Value: $500
The importance of Avengers #1 cannot be under-stated.
Yes, Fantastic Four #1 was three years earlier. But this issue reflects three years of additional experience, and the fine honing of the art of the Marvel Age of Comics.
FF#1 was an experiment. Stan Lee had no idea whether it would work or not.
By 1964, multiple series had been relaunched or created from scratch, with heroes appearing in Tales of Suspense (Iron Man), Incredible Hulk, Tales to Astonish (Hulk, Ant-Man and Wasp) and Journey into Mystery (Thor).
Putting these popular heroes together in a new super-team was a no-brainer. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Captain America would famously show up three issues later.

Wasp never really held her own series down for long. There were various attempts during the 1995 and 2000s. This was one of the most enduring.
